Fri, 14 September 2007 I've been considering attempting a live audio stream show for some time and we may have our first attempt this weekend. Sunday afternoon (September 16) I will try to do a 90-mnute show live from the Timbers Army tailgate at PGE Park. The show would run from 2:00pm to 3:30pm Pacific time. We'll try to upload pictures, have guests, heckle the Whitecaps when they arrive, etc. If the show is a go I will post the link here as well as at www.talktimbers.com Sunday morning. Uncharted territory for me, but if it works out I may try to do something similar for some home matches next season - a 30 minute pre-match show leading up to the Timbers own audiocast or something similar. Wed, 25 April 2007 Well, I just glanced at all the entries I've done in April and it's as if the season is in full swing. There are controversies brewing with the Timbers Army as there are compromises coming with the front office. There are massive numbers staging for the trip to Seattle as people try to fit in all the matches the week of May 7. But the most important thing is that the boys are playing again on the pitch and they looked anything but unprepared on April 21 vs. Puerto Rico. The squad is big, skilled and hungry. Their fitness is very good and they fight for everything they get. I am impressed by what Gavin Wilkinson has done so far. So I urge each of you to bring a friend to one of the matches the week of May 7. Spread the love. -Obi Please feel free to post comments or take the time to email me the107report@verizon.net with any suggestions you might have.

Sun, 8 April 2007 OK. This isn't really a 'cast, no words from me. Just a music file. This is local Portland band Fuzzball's updated version of 'Green Is The Color'. The song is part of the soundtrack to the upcoming Carefree Films documentary 'A Year In The Army' and was featured on the 'We Are Mental' trailer available here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dvQ0N9UBeQ for viewing. Fuzzball are playing Satyricon on April 26 - please support them as they've been kind enough to support us with this song. Spread the love.Comments[0] |
